To My Dear Fellow Bloggers

To my dear fellow bloggers. I have some new project and other things to share with you but, due to my recent neck surgery it's been difficult to do much of anything. Especially to use my laptop.

But, I am healing slowly but surely. Three more weeks of wearing this neck brace and then a test to see how strong the muscles in my neck are. I am looking for a full recovery. Keep me in your prayers and thank you all for all your sweet comments and subscriptions.

Will keep in touch and again thank you so much! Hugs De

FUN AND FLOWERS WITH MY ECRAFT DIE CUTTING MACHINE

For a long time now I have been wanting and wondering what I would do if I had a die cutting machine. I have seen so many Cricket infomercials I could probably do one myself. Not to mention craft days on HSN. It was during one of those airings that I decided I wanted one too.

So when then next scrapbook airing came up I missed the portion about the new Cricket mini but, what I did catch was the segment on the new Ecraft machine. I fell in love! No no no, I did not just jump right in and get one. I did research, I read customer reviews, I watched videos about it on Youtube and gave my findings a lot of thought. I was satisfied. My hubby said yes. And then I ordered it. In HOT PINK!

I'm learning by trial and error. But for the most part I am having a blast as I go along. I have been watching Youtube at all the beautiful things you ladies are doing  everyday. One of them are the flowers you make. From the Velma Flower to the die cut flowers and lots of flowers in between. So I thought I would give it a try.

Here are some of the flowers that I made using my Ecraft machine and Tim Holtz alterations floral die. Hope you like them!

MY FIRST YOUTUBE VIDEO

I spend a fair amount of time watching Youtube. Mainly the scrapbooking, rubberstamping, gourds and my all time favorite...Mini album videos.

The album creators do such amazing work. Just to name a few, creativelyouttacontrol(Velma), steffogal1, creativecafegirl, aweeziechk, primadonnacrafts, timeforscrapping, mybutterflykisses12, and sooo many many more.

I have been creating minis for a long time but, it wasn't until I started watching Youtube that I became addicted to creating paperbag albums.

So, with the help of all you wonderful mini album creators, I finally got up enough nerve to shoot my very first video. You can see it if you go to my Youtube channel: nannasgrands04. Please feel free to comment and subscribe.

These are the photos to my video. Hope you like them! (8x8 cardstock mini made from my scrap stash)

HAPPY AS SCRAP

It takes no time at all for us to have scraps pile up on us after a few paper projects. Some us will take care of this little problem asap and, there are those of  us who tend to let them go just a little bit longer. I am one of the ones who has to take a day and designate it just for scraps!

On  particular day while I was hard at work in my little shop of horrors, I moved a stack of papers and there lay a mini .  One I had been working on at an earlier date and  had gotton itself lost in the pile of my creative mess.

Glancing through this little lost mini album I could see it had the need for pockets, tags and other things. So I would store scraps and  I would work on the mini.  And before I knew it the scraps were put in there places and the mini was complete!

So,here is a look at "my little scrap mini". Hope you like it. Please leave a comment.
